These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JetTranscript desktop application and the website jettranscript.com ("the Software", "the Service"), provided by Gentian Jetullahu ("we", "us"). By purchasing, downloading or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
JetTranscript is sold as a one-time purchase. Upon purchase you receive one or more license keys that grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the Software:
Each license key activates the Software on a single device. A key may be moved to another device by deactivating it on the previous one, within reasonable limits.
You may use the Software for personal or commercial purposes. You may not: resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the Software or your license keys; share keys publicly; or attempt to circumvent the license activation. You may not use the Software for any unlawful purpose.
The Software can record audio, including conversations. Recording people without the consent of all participants may be illegal in your country (for example, under § 201 of the German Criminal Code). You are solely responsible for obtaining the consent of all recorded persons and for complying with all applicable laws. We accept no liability for unlawful use of the recording feature.
The Software, its code and design are the intellectual property of Gentian Jetullahu. The Software incorporates third-party open-source components (e.g. OpenAI Whisper, PyTorch, FFmpeg, Microsoft Phi-3-mini and others), each used under its respective open-source license; the corresponding notices are included with the Software.
The Software processes your audio, transcripts and summaries locally on your device. We do not receive, store or have access to your recordings, transcripts or summaries. See our Privacy Policy.
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record (the seller) for the transaction and handles billing and applicable taxes.

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Transcription and summary accuracy may vary and is not guaranteed. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from the use of the Software. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. for intent or gross negligence).
This license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. Upon termination you must stop using and delete the Software.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
